HR Generalist I HR Operations Specialist (m/f/d) Part-time (50%)

Your mission
For our subsidiary in Arlington, Texas we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Human Resources Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting our people-focused initiatives.
Our Arlington team consists of 17 full-time employees and approximately 90 part-time staff members deployed on an assignment basis.
The position is initially designed as a 50% role (20 hours per week) and is to be performed on-site. An extension of the hours is possible if the workload increases.


  • Act as the on-site HR partner for operational matters, executing established processes and supporting day-to-day employee relations in close alignment with the headquarters in Germany
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews and onboarding
  • Administer payroll for permanent staff and part-time employees using the Paycom platform, and support employee benefits programs, including the annual enrollment process, following established policies and approval workflows
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures in alignment with  the headquarters, ensuring compliance with applicable legal regulations and internal guidelines
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records, including reports, disposition notes, candidate records, and employee documentation, to support transparent reporting to headquarters
  • Provide occasional support with basic office management tasks as needed
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a tech or IT environment
  • Solid working knowledge of employment laws, payroll processes, and HR best practices
  • Experience serving as the local HR point of contact, working closely with an HR team and a Germany-based leader
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., Personio)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Trusted to manage confidential information with the highest level of professionalism
  • Comfortable working in a reporting-line structure with international stakeholders
  • Enjoys taking initiative within defined frameworks while being a strong team player
